Need help with your Paperbell payment processor? PayPal and Stripe are the two payment providers that Paperbell works with. That means you either need a PayPal or Stripe account in order to set up Paperbell and accept payment from your clients.<\/p>\n

We recommend using Stripe. You can create an account via your payment settings page <\/a>if you don’t already have one. <\/p>\n

All About PayPal<\/h2>\n

PayPal has more limited functionality in Paperbell as you can only create one-time payments and not subscriptions or payment plans.<\/p>\n

Your clients do not have to have a PayPal account in order to pay you via PayPal. They can log in with their PayPal account, or they can just use their credit card if they don’t have a PayPal account or don’t want to use it.<\/p>\n

All About Stripe<\/h2>\n

Stripe is our recommended payment provider. With Stripe you have full Paperbell functionality including payment plans and subscriptions. <\/p>\n

Your clients do not need a Stripe account<\/strong>. Stripe is simply a payment gateway that takes all major credit cards. So when you use Stripe, it just looks like a “normal” credit card checkout to your clients. It will not ask them for any kind of Stripe login. <\/p>\n

Can I let my clients choose between using PayPal or not?<\/h3>\n

No, you must select just one as your payment provider. <\/p>\n

Stripe is not available in my country, what do I do?<\/h3>\n

If Stripe isn’t available where you live, you’ll need to use PayPal. Unfortunately this does mean that subscriptions and payment plans won’t be available in your account. <\/p>\n

What credit cards does Paperbell accept?<\/h3>\n

Both Stripe and PayPal accept all major credit cards. This means your customers in Paperbell will be able to pay using whatever methods are accepted by your payment provider. <\/p>\n

Can I accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, Opayo, checks, or other payment methods?<\/h3>\n

Nope, you’ll need a PayPal or Stripe account. <\/p>\n

What are the fees for using PayPal or Stripe?<\/h3>\n

Paperbell does not take a percentage of your sales. PayPal and Stripe each take a percentage, based on location and currency. <\/p>\n
