Can I tell how many visits my Paperbell site has had?

If you’ve found yourself wondering, “How do I know if anyone’s looking at my Paperbell website?” then we’ve got you covered!

Look out for an email report from us each week with the subject “Some activity on your site 📊”, in which we’ll tell you:

  • the total number of visits to your Paperbell site in the previous 7 days
  • your top 5 most-viewed packages – and the number of visits each received
  • a heads-up about any active packages that have a problem preventing them from showing on your site

And that’s it! Some nice, simple, super-useful info about how your Paperbell website and packages are performing.

Just a couple of things to note:

  • if your site didn’t receive any visits in the 7 days leading up to us sending out reports, you won’t receive an email
  • the number of visits does include your own activity

Visitor report FAQs

Can I find out who these visitors are?

No – sorry! We only track numbers of visits, not who those visitors are.

Does the number of visits include my own?

Yes! The number of visits in our email report does include your own activity.

So, unless you’re testing out your website as if you were the client, we recommend checking it out via the Website Editor instead. The editor provides a live preview of your homepage and package landing pages without skewing your visit count.

Can I set up more advanced tracking or find out other kinds of metrics?

Not at the moment, but we’re open to suggestions. If you’re interested in reporting on other metrics, please drop us an email and let us know, so we can consider this for future development. Thanks!

Can I run these reports myself?

No. Please keep an eye out for our weekly email report. 👀

What kind of warnings will I get about my active packages?

We’ll let you know about any issues that are preventing any packages set to an “active” status from showing on your website. Specifically:

  • If a package needs a price set
  • If you’ve set a price, but haven’t yet integrated a payment provider
  • You’ve set up a package with a subscription or payment plan and don’t have Stripe integrated
  • If you’ve uploaded a contract, but haven’t completed your email confirmation
